We have a proven track record of providing cost effective support to assist highway authorities & agents with design, mobilisation and delivery of land management schemes on the strategic road network. This has included extensive work within and adjoining sensitive environments including unit 313 of the New Forest SSSI in Hampshire.
Our experience has covered the management of injurious weeds / invasive plants, trees, gorse and heath, boundary fence replacement and woodland plot management including schemes to reduce the risk of deer / vehicle collisions.
Scheme preparation has required close and timely co-operation with interested parties including scheme ecologists, specialist consultants, landowners, Natural England, Local Planning Authorities, and communications teams. While design has included detail specification for the management of trees and vegetation together with appropriate methodology for works and the treatment of arisings, road space / traffic management booking, statutory undertaker checks and negotiation to allow access via third party land.
