About Us – based in Hampshire, we offer consultancy services to help you understand, plan and manage your landscape & trees
Providing land management consultancy services for 20 years
We are located in Winchester Hampshire and cover the adjacent counties of Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex but also provide contract support in other areas of England.
Our clients & project experience has been built from work in the following sectors: Local planning authorities (LPA) | Parish and Town councils | Highways authorities, including high speed motorways and trunk road networks in southern England | Defence estates | Schools | Land estates | Householders.
We specialise in providing advice for small scale schemes while offering contract and locum support to larger organisaitions and authorities.
Our Story
Established in 2003 by David Sykes (Principal consultant). We provide a range of land management services and have now been in business for 20 years.
David ‘s background includes building supplies sales, horticultural production, landscape design, construction and maintenance. David has over 20 years experience in the management of trees – the profession known as arboriculture.
David ‘s qualifications include:
BSc Hons in Land Management and Technology (Level 6)
Higher National Diploma in Horticulture (Level 5)
Arboricultural Association Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture (Level 3 / Level 4)
Professional Tree inspection (PTI) . Professional accreditation – LANTRA awards approved. A training award for experienced arborists undertaking tree condition surveys who can demonstrate knowledge and skills to identify and diagnose potential problems, recommend and prioritise appropriate treatments and work programmes with priority.
Professional membership:
David is a Full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
Chartered Environmentalist – Society for the Environment (CEnv)
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
David undertakes Continuing Professional Development in accordance with the requirements of his professional membership in order to ensure advice provided is informed by current standards and practices.
